The Kalyani University is one of the
oldest universities of the West Bengal state. The university is a state
government university of the west Bengal state. The university is
situated in the Nadia district of the West Bengal state. The university
was established in the year 1960 on 1st November. The
university was established by the act of the government of the West
Bengal state to provide education in the research field then the
university increased their areas or field of education. The university
is spread in a large area of 400 acres in the West Bengal state.
The university is recognized by the
university grant commission (UGC), Association of Indian universities
(AIU), association commonwealth universities (ACU) and global
universities network for innovation (GUNI). The university is accredited
by the national assessment and accreditation council (NAAC). Many
different colleges of the Andhra Pradesh state are affiliated with the
university.
